Scholarship cum Admission Test Details:
 
There will be 2 Question papers containing 100 Questions each in the Scholarship Exam. Time Duration for the Paper will be 1.5 hours each.
 
Scholarship Paper will be an Objective type Paper, wherein candidates will be provided 4 options. 
 
Penalty (NEGATIVE MARKING) for Wrong Answers:
There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong 
answer has been given by the candidate. One third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
 
 
WHO CAN APPLY:
 
1. Class 10th appearing students can apply for 11+12+NDA Course.
2. Class 11th/12th appearing students can apply for NDA Course.

SYLLABUS

SYLLABUS for Students of Class 10

Paper 1:

Syllabus for Class 10th students
Maths
The question paper in Maths will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of Mathematics as per syllabus of Class 8, 9 & 10.
English
The question paper in English will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of English and workman like use of words. The syllabus covers various aspects like : Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion in extended text to test the candidate’s proficiency in English.

Paper 2:

Syllabus for Class 10th students
Physics
The question paper in Physics will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of Physics as per syllabus of Class 8, 9 & 10.
Chemistry
The question paper in Chemistry will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of Chemistry as per syllabus of Class 8, 9 & 10.
General Science
Difference between the living and non-living. Basis of Life—Cells, Protoplasms and Tissues. Growth and Reproduction in Plants and Animals.
Elementary knowledge of Human Body and its important organs.
Common Epidemics, their causes and prevention.
Food—Source of Energy for man. Constituents of food, Balanced Diet. The Solar System—Meteors and Comets, Eclipses.
Achievements of Eminent Scientists.
History, Freedom Movement etc.
A broad survey of Indian History, with emphasis on Culture and Civilisation. Freedom Movement in India. Elementary study of Indian Constitution and Administration. Elementary knowledge of Five Year Plans of India. Panchayati Raj, Co-operatives and Community Development. Bhoodan, Sarvodaya, National Integration and Welfare State, Basic Teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. Forces shaping the modern world; Renaissance, Exploration and Discovery; War of American Independence. Knowledge of Important events that have happened in India in the recent years. Current important world events.

Fees for appearing in  NDA Scholarship cum Admission Test:

1. Class 10th appearing students can apply for 11+12+NDA Course : Exam Fees- Rs 1,000/-**

2. Class 11th/12th appearing students can apply for NDA Course : Exam Fees- Rs 1,000/-**

 
**Examination Fees is NON Refundable.
