Combined Defence Services Examination

The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment of Commissioned Officers in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Indian Naval Academy(INA) and Indian Air Force Academy(AFA). The examination is conducted twice a year. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. The candidates who clear the written examination are then called for (SSB) interviews. The candidates who are successful are admitted into the respective Academies. Candidates may also get advice from our CDS exam coaching in Mumbai to ensure a successful written examination and a confident interview procedure.
