Arriving on time is a fundamental requirement; being late or lacking necessary documents communicates a poor first impression.

  1. Don’t let confidence turn into arrogance

One must be self-assured, but arrogance does not facilitate cooperation, and it contradicts the two traits that the services promote (humility and teamwork).

  1. Don’t show disorganization or lack of background knowledge

It is most likely that the interviewer will ask you about your education, hobbies, current affairs, and motivation; being vague or unorganized can play against your credibility.

  1. Don’t display negative or sloppy body language

Give your best to avoid slumping, crossing arms, playing with things, or not making eye contact. These actions create an impression of a lack of confidence or being uninterested.

  1. Don’t give up if you face setbacks

Certain activities at the SSB will seem difficult, and you will not succeed in every instance. What matters is your mentality. Resilience, adaptability, and improvement are the most important qualities.
