CDS or Combined Defence Service is a Defence recruitment exam which is conducted twice every year for entry into naval, air force and military by the Indian Army. It is conducted by UPSC or The Union of Public Service Commission, and only unmarried graduates are eligible to apply for the exam. The Cds exam pattern consists of Your grasp over the English language, General knowledge, and Elementary maths.
